The pahadi honey comes from the Italian honey-bee ‘Melliferra’ of the Uttarakhand state of India. The area is famous for rich floral diversity. The honey is free of pesticides, preservatives, artificial ingredients and other chemicals.
Origin: Collected from Tarai area of lower Himalayas.
Production place: Dehradun and nearby. Italian commercial honey bee doesn’t require any sugar feeding since flora is available round the year in the area.
Flora & type: Multi-flora. Local flowering plants, Mango, Eucalyptus, Safaida, Saal, Khair, Mustard, Sunflower, Peach etc.
Attributes: Unique taste and aroma since collected from small beekeepers which convinces about the quality of product.
